When DRW posts internships

DRW posts its summer internships in one early batch. For summer 2027, nearly every intern role went live on July 13, 2026, about eleven months before the internship. A handful came later, such as a Chicago Platform Engineer internship at the end of July and a Singapore data engineering role in August.

Internships run 10 weeks, and DRW provides furnished housing near the office. With no published deadline, roles can close once they are filled.

Who can apply

The summer 2027 postings ask for students pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or PhD in math, economics, physics, statistics, computer science, or engineering, graduating between December 2027 and June 2028. Trading roles expect Python; developer roles look for C++, Python, or Java.

The interview process

DRW lays out a four-step process on its intern page: an application reviewed as it arrives, a timed at-home technical challenge (probability and logic for quant roles, computer science fundamentals for developers), a Zoom interview mixing technical and behavioral questions, and a final round.
