You should know C++, Python, or TypeScript. Finance experience isn't needed.

Trading roles look for quantitative majors such as computer science, engineering, or the hard sciences, solid Python, and a grasp of probability and statistics. No finance background required. Interns get free housing and breakfast and lunch on site.

The interview process

Candidates commonly report an online assessment first: a coding test for engineering, a quantitative and probability test for trading. Then a phone or video interview with technical or probability questions.
