Registration opens about six weeks before sessions start, recordings are posted, and signing up is not a job application.

When BCG posts internships

BCG runs US Associate recruiting on fixed national deadlines, and the internship deadline comes early. By September 2026, BCG's US page listed both its 2027 Summer Internship and full-time applications as closed. Anyone aiming at a summer 2027 internship had to apply well before the fall of junior year.

Treat BCG as a spring-of-sophomore-year or early-junior-year application, and watch the US Associate opportunities page and your school's BCG campus page for the next window. Online case invitations go out about two weeks after the deadline, so the whole screen compresses into a few weeks.

Who can apply

Undergraduate and non-MBA master's students from any field can apply to the US Associate roles; cover letters are optional. Students in an MBA or other graduate professional program are not eligible for these deadlines and recruit through separate channels.

If either of your two office preferences is outside the US, you also have to complete BCG's international application. BCG asks you not to change office preferences between applications submitted in the same period.

The interview process

Within 30 to 90 minutes of applying, BCG emails an invitation to the Consulting Career Assessment (CCA). It takes about 30 to 35 minutes and you have 48 hours to finish it. Selected candidates then complete a roughly 35-minute online case, which you only take once, even across cycles.

Clear the screens and you move to live case interviews: a first round and a final round, each with multiple cases. Candidates describe BCG cases as more conversational and candidate-led than McKinsey's, with fit questions woven into each interview.
