UBS internships: when they open and how to apply
One global Summer Internship Program, different rules by region. In the U.S., UBS publishes a GPA floor and a cap of three applications per academic year. Every candidate takes reasoning tests and records a video interview before meeting anyone live.

Internships and programs at UBS
The early-career programs it runs for students and recent graduates, by the names it uses for them.
- Summer Internship Program
- UBS's main internship, across investment banking, global markets, wealth management, asset management, and group functions. U.S. internships start in June and target students entering the second-to-last year of undergraduate study; some divisions also take master's students.
- UBS Tomorrow's Talent (Spring Insight) Program
- An insight program whose format changes by region: one day of in-person and virtual events in the U.S., four days in person in EMEA, and two to three months of sessions in APAC. Participants can go on to apply for an internship.
- UBS Graduate Talent Program
- An 18 to 24 month program for graduates, and where UBS points strong interns after they finish their degrees.
When UBS posts internships
UBS says U.S. summer internships open at various times through the year, with rolling review. Investment banking has gone early: its first summer 2027 postings appeared around January 2026, about eighteen months ahead.
Other regions keep their own calendars. UK and EMEA internships start opening in August, with more roles added through September. APAC timing varies by location, and roles there are advertised for an initial four weeks.

Who can apply
U.S. applicants should be entering the second-to-last year of undergraduate study, with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Some divisions accept master's candidates.
In the U.S. and APAC, you get up to three applications across business divisions and offices in one academic year. The UK and EMEA work differently: one program in the UK and one in the rest of EMEA.
The interview process
Four stages: an online application, online assessments, a pre-recorded video interview, and final-round interviews that can be virtual or in person. The assessments cover verbal, numerical, and inductive-logical reasoning, plus a UBS Culture Match test built around realistic work scenarios.
Final rounds are conversations with assessors from the business, combining motivation and fit with division-specific questions.
